Patterson Army Health Clinic (PAHC)

The Patterson Army Health Clinic (PAHC), one of our computer facilities support customers, is a primary care facility located in Monmouth County, New Jersey. The clinic provides and coordinates healthcare for beneficiaries located throughout the New Jersey-New York metropolitan area. The clinic's Information Management Division is responsible for providing clinical and office automation support to a client base of approximately 200 users.

ASRC Communications provides technical assistance to this division in the installation, administration, and maintenance of file servers, workstations, associated peripheral equipment, application software, and operating systems on their Local/Wide Area Network. We also assist in supporting the clinic's Automation Help Desk function. This support is also provided to other outlying medical activities in the area that are associated with this particular network function.

ASRC Communications provides support to the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, MD, for its operational campus-wide data and video network that provides direct connectivity for midshipmen, faculty, and staff to both local computing resources and world-wide computing resources via the internet. This network consists of a fiber-optic cable backbone system, a radio frequency (RF) broadband backbone system, fiber and twisted pair distribution systems, network servers, routers, and gateways. Nine different protocols are support by the associated hardware suites.

ASRC Communications provides dedicated on-site technical support to the Naval Academy Data Network in the following areas:

• NADN Maintenance and Operation - including equipment preventive and corrective maintenance, service calls and operational monitoring
• Novell Local Area Networking Support - providing systems administration support for up to 7,000 Novell users
• Emergency On-Call NADN After Hours Support - providing immediate response to emergent corrective maintenance requirements seven days a week
• Spare Parts Support - purchasing and maintaining adequate spare parts to support all network maintenance requirements; including inventory control for storage, usage, and timely replenishment
• Cabling Infrastructure Support - providing work scope planning, installation, and testing of the required intra and inter building cable network, involving over nine different cabling technologies
