C4ISR Support

MilitaryCommand, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Support.

ASRC Communications, Ltd. (ASRCC) has extensive experience providing the following C4ISR support:

  1. C4ISR System Acquisition & Requirements Determination Support
  2. Military Intelligence Doctrine
  3. Training, including System Training and Training Development
  4. Information Technology, Database Development & Deployment, and Network Architecture & Management

ASRCC has demonstrated an ability to hire and retain cleared personnel while providing management and quality control over all processes. Projects illustrating ASRCC’s experience in C4ISR include:

Military Intelligence Doctrine

Military Intelligence Doctrine: ASRCC has supported the United States Army Intelligence Center’s Doctrine Directorate for the past eight (8) years in the following areas: Doctrine Development, Object Based Doctrine Management System (OBDMS), and the Military Intelligence Professional Bulletin (MIPB).

  • Doctrine Development: ASRCC doctrine writers are responsible for developing three tiers of manuals for the Army Intelligence Corps: Army, Proponent, and Reference. These products provide doctrinal guidance to Military Intelligence commanders and staff responsible for planning and executing Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations. Additionally, ASRCC provides reference material for Army personnel developing intelligence Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs); materiel and force structure; institutional and unit training; and Standing Operating Procedures (SOP) for ISR operations across all Army echelons in today’s modular force.
  • Doctrine Image
  • Object Based Doctrine Management System: OBDMS provides a more centralized, effective means for the update, development, and dissemination of Army doctrine. ASRCC subject matter experts dissect approved doctrine, mission training plans, and lessons learned into low level, discrete pieces of information.
  • Military Intelligence Professional Bulletin: MIPB presents information designed to keep Army intelligence professionals informed of current and emerging developments within the field. ASRCC personnel ensure current and past editions of MIPB are available for immediate viewing on web-based Intelligence Knowledge Center (IKN) and University of Military Intelligence (UMI).

Military Intelligence Lessons Learned Team

Since 2004, ASRCC has staffed the USAIC Intelligence Lessons Learned Team at Fort Huachuca. We have collected observations from all current operations across all echelons operating in Iraq and Afghanistan, providing the most up-to-date information on successful intelligence operations as well as lessons learned.

Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)

ASRCC provides UAS Tactics/Techniques/Procedures (TTP); interfacing; networking and interoperability; testing; payloads; fielding; modeling; simulation; and engineering. Our personnel work on the data and communication links to the Global Information Grid (GIG) and the Land War Net. We are also responsible for the following radars used by the ACS: the Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR); the Moving Target Indicator (MTI) Radar; the Electro-Optic Radar; and the Infrared Radar.

Distributed Common Ground System - Army (DCGS-A)

For more than five (5) years, ASRCC has developed the requirement documentation for the DCGS-A capability. DCGS-A will provide three primary functions: a) the ability to discover and use all relevant threat, non-combatant, weather and geospatial data; b) the capability to collaborate, synchronize and integrate organic and non-organic direct and general support to collection elements with operations, and to evaluate technical data and information on behalf of a commander; and c) organizational elements able to control select sensor platforms/payloads and process the collected data.

Multi-sensor Aerospace-ground Joint ISR Interoperable Coalition (MAJIIC)

ASRCC provides operational, technical, and training expertise for development and completion of U.S. MAJIIC user and operational transition requirements. MAJIIC capabilities allow each participating U.S. Service, Agency and participating Coalition Nation to view sensor-derived products from other nations' sensor and exploitation systems. Participating MAJIIC Coalition Nations include: Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Great Britain, the United States, and NATO Consultation, Command and Control Agency (NC3A) as the Technical Manager.
